Scotch Weld anaerobic Adhesives

Scotch Weld anaerobic Adhesives
Anaerobic adhesives are single component in a liquid form and harden when they rest between two metal surfaces to be connected. The air is the element inhibitor (blocks the adhesive) and is used to store the product. The metal instead is the active catalyst and the hardening. In order that the anaerobic adhesive is active there must be a maximum gap of 0.5 mm between the surfaces. The product has to fill up all the space by eliminating the air and activating the polymerization. The accession that is generated forms a junction given by a plastic film, tough, resistant to oils and fuels, hydraulic fluids and refrigerators, water and many chemicals, is impermeable to gases and vapors.
