Reinforced adhesive packaging tapes
Reinforced (filament) strapping for packaging, designed to deliver superior performance in specific conditions and with special characteristics depending on the intended use, is usually divided into unidirectional, bidirectional and high-performance families.
High-strength filament strapping for general use is suitable for medium-duty strapping, bundling, splicing and reinforcement applications.
The fibreglass filaments run in both directions and therefore offer high tensile strength across the entire width and length of the tape. Other important features are:
tear resistance in the machine and transverse directions;
adheres easily to most surfaces with high initial adhesion;
resistant to nicks, abrasions, moisture and scratches.
