Die-cutting is a process that adds value to adhesive products such as:
1. VHB thick acrylic double-sided tape,

By customizing the adhesive into predefined shapes based on technical drawings, you obtain a semi-finished product that is important for cost optimization and essential in many industrial production processes.
Starting from the drawing, you can minimize material waste and optimize production costs; furthermore, with careful analysis and a variety of production techniques, you can streamline application during assembly on the production line.
Die-cutting is therefore a complex process for transforming double-sided tape, and this requires specific and efficient machinery, but above all, extensive experience and numerous technical solutions acquired over 50 years of experience in the field.
To achieve this, the Biemme Adesivi production department uses state-of-the-art machinery such as laser die cutters, flatbed die cutters, rotary die cutters, and cutters, depending on the customer’s technical requirements and the number of pieces requested.
Furthermore, to maintain high quality standards, the company is equipped with quality control machinery, which is performed by the production manager during testing, during production, and before delivery.
During the quote phase, it is possible to request die-cut labels as individual pieces, zero-cut or kiss-cut, on a roll, kit, or sheet. They can be made for manual or automated application depending on the customer’s production needs: for this purpose, centering holes can be selected for use with application machines or special plates.
Other options that can be considered include the addition of an overhanging liner or a liner with a finger-lift tab to facilitate weeding during application. We are often asked to replace the liner, deliver rolls in customized lengths or particular combinations “for example two dissimilar materials”.
