3M coating type 7888, for example, is a single-component liquid coating with suspended abrasive grains that provides non-slip protection on a wide variety of surfaces, including steel, aluminum, ceramic, concrete, marble, wood, fiberglass, plastic, rubber and many other substrates.

Characteristics

Excellent resistance to oils, solvents, seawater, detergents, and acidic and basic solutions.

The coating can be cleaned with most common detergents, both manually and mechanically. It can also be painted with products for nitrile rubber.
