Product descriptiontesa® 60400 is a bio-based packaging tape, suitable for medium-heavy packaging applications (15 – 30 kg). The material chosen for the backing of this tape is polylactic acid, also known as PLA. PLA is made from 100 percent renewable raw materials, such as maize starch, tapioca roots or sugar cane. Natural rubber with a natural-based resin was used for the adhesive system. Thanks to a careful choice of materials and an outstanding design, tesa® 60400 has a low carbon footprint.
