3M™ Double Coated Tape 9448A has a cellulose tissue carrier. The adhesive shows good resistance to high temperatures and chemicals. The tissue carrier gives the tape improved handling characteristics during converting and application compared to transfer adhesives.

The frontside adhesive is exposed when the roll is unwound. The backside adhesive is exposed when the liner is removed. The calculation of the adhesive thickness is based on a density of 1.012 g/cm3.
