Superior Bond Strength This system provides bond strength up to 470 psi (3.24 MPa) in overlap shear, significantly higher than standard VHB tapes. It is ideal for applications requiring extreme strength and can replace mechanical fasteners. Advanced Design Capabilities – Do more with less! The superior adhesive properties offer greater design flexibility and may reduce material usage compared to other acrylic foam tapes. Use narrower bond lines and less total bond area while achieving similar strength performance. Simplified Solution With Ease and Cleanliness of Tape Immediate handling strength allows for faster assembly and processing times compared to liquid adhesives. The high strength of 3M VHB Tape Max may enable it to replace liquid adhesives like polyurethane reactive adhesives (PURs) and adhesive sealants.
